March Grant Recipient and April Reading Corner Grant

March 30, 2018 – Richmond, Virginia

The law firm of ReidGoodwin, PLC has awarded the $500.00 March Reading Corner Grant to J.E.B. Stuart Elementary School to be used towards purchasing STEAM books for the school library. We are excited to see the impact that these books will have on the students at J.E.B. Stuart.

ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more.  Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.

For the month of April, ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by 5 PM on April 18th.

Interested schools or libraries in the award should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Proposals can be sent to Samantha Daniel at receptionist@reidgoodwin.com. A school will be selected on April 23, 2018.
