ReidGoodwin Reading Corner: April Grant Recipient and May Grant Information

ReidGoodwin Awards April Reading Corner Grant

The law firm of ReidGoodwin, PLC has awarded the $500.00 April Reading Corner Grant to J.H. Blackwell Elementary School to be used towards purchasing new books for the school library. We are excited to see the impact that these books will have on the students at J.H. Blackwell.

ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more.  Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.

For the month of May, ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by 5 PM on May 23rd.

Schools or libraries interested in the award should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Proposals can be sent to Samantha Daniel at receptionist@reidgoodwin.com. A school will be selected on May 25, 2018.
