For the eighth consecutive year, ReidGoodwin participated in Richmond Animal League’s (RAL) Strut Your Mutt 30 Day Challenge. In the month leading up to the event, our staff members were able to raise $4,455.00 and snag 2nd place for team fundraising. Our partner Brody Reid came in as the 3rd highest individual contributor, receiving over $2,500 in donations. The money raised will be contributed towards microchips, spaying and neutering services, surgeries, cleaning supplies, medications, testing, vaccines, and food. The funds will also assist with animal transportation.
The Richmond Animal League is a no-kill shelter founded in 1979. They assist with finding forever homes for dogs and cats. In 2009, they opened The Loving Spay & Neuter Clinic, as they saw the need for a low-cost clinic in the Southside. If a pet owner meets the low-income guidelines, their animals are eligible for free spaying and neutering services. Each year the RAL hosts Strut Your Mutt to help fund these operations.
