Staff Highlight: Meet Whitney Martin
November is a month to reflect giving thanks, at ReidGoodwin we are thankful for our dedicated staff. We wanted to take a moment and highlight one of our rock stars, Whitney Martin. Whitney always reminds us to take things as they come and is always available to lend a hand when asked.
A little bit about Whitney…
She has a BA in Music with a concentration in Music Business from Radford University- go Highlanders! Whitney started with our firm in October 2017 as an Intake Coordinator and took on the role of Civil Litigation Paralegal in November 2018. Whitney just celebrated her three-year anniversary with ReidGoodwin and we can’t wait to see what she will do in the years to come!
Q: What does a normal day at RG look like?
A: A typical day at RG is unpredictable to say the least. The direction of cases often changes on a daily basis, in turn keeping me on my toes and ready to face whatever comes my way.
Q: What is your favorite thing about working at RG?
A: My favorite thing about working at RG would be my coworkers and our clients. It is a pleasure to work alongside so many individuals that work tirelessly to make sure our clients get the best possible outcome for their case. I have enjoyed the ability to develop supportive relationships with our clients. Getting to know each client and having the opportunity to work alongside and guide them in situations that are often very difficult makes the end result and resolution in each case all the more rewarding.
Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
A: When I’m not at work, you can find me learning new music or listening to music. I also enjoy cycling, spending time with my friends, and enjoying Richmond City’s public parks.
Interesting Facts: I decided to take classical voice lessons while attending college and have been training and performing as an opera singer for about eight years.
