For the month of October, the law firm of ReidGoodwin, PLC awarded T.C Boushall Middle School the $500.00 Reading Corner Grant! The ReidGoodwin Reading Corner Grant will be used to bring author Ann Braden to speak with students and purchase several of her books to give away as raffle prizes. We think this is a great way to motivate students to love reading!
ReidGoodwin, headquartered in Richmond, has a history of community engagement – partnering with the likes of Richmond Animal League (RAL), FeedMore, JDRF, The Giving Heart, Ronald McDonald House, Safe Harbor, Angel Tree, and more. Now, more than ever, our communities need responsible corporate citizens that give back to their community. “ReidGoodwin’s Reading Corner” is a natural extension to give back to the children in our community and support the educators and libraries in Richmond’s public schools.
For the month of November, ReidGoodwin will be awarding another $500.00 to a school to be used towards any project or need, such as purchasing new books for the library or new supplies. If your library or school has a specific need please submit a short proposal by Friday, November 22nd, 2019.
Interested schools or libraries should submit a brief statement to include a short description of how the money will be used. Proposals can be sent to receptionist@reidgoodwin.com.
