Firefighters responded to a two-alarm warehouse fire on Klockner drive in Henrico just before 2:00 AM last night. NBC12 reports that the fire was marked under control at 3:20 AM.
While responders were able to determine that the source of the flames was foam rubber inside the warehouse, the fire marshal’s office is still investigating what exactly ignited the fire.
According to the Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office, there have been 608 warehouse fires this year (through July 7, 2015), resulting in $135,901.00 worth of damage.
